Deciding to learn Japanese is very brave, especially if you are new to learning languages. Learning Japanese usually means learning a new alphabet, a new reading style, a new writing style and a new speaking style. There is definitely more to learning this language than simply learning some new vocabulary words! Of course, that doesn’t mean that you can’t do it. You are perfectly capable of learning Japanese. There are some things you can do to make your progress go more smoothly. Use some of these tested methods and you’ll find that you will learn faster and more efficiently.persoonlijke lening persoonlijkelening lenen }
If you are serious about learning Japanese, you should find a way to immerse yourself in it. Going to Japan on your own, without any guide, would be the best solution if it’s possible. When you are there, you will be forced to rely on any studying you’ve done and this will enable you to learn quite a bit more out of necessity. For many people this sort of total immersion is the best way to learn a language. When you are in another country, you find yourself picking up the language naturally, in your everyday activities. The next best solution, if you can’t go to Japan, is to find a Japanese neighborhood where the language is spoken a lot. There is another way that does not involve any travel to immerse yourself in Japanese; for a month or so, watch only Japanese programs and films; don’t choose the option for subtitles, as you don’t want to give yourself this help. You’ll start to pick up on vocabulary pretty quickly.
One thing you should do is find a tutor. You may want to take a class, which is a great idea, but you should still get a tutor.
Learning Japanese can be hard, and working one on one with a native speaker is something that can really help you. Tutors will be able to play to your strength and bolster up your weaknesses and make sure that any mistakes you might be making are corrected sooner instead of later on when you attempt to use Japanese on your own. More importantly, your tutor might know some learning tips and tricks that you can use to help you better retain your new language.
You should also use flash cards. Japanese is a complicated language, and you will really need a few sets of flash cards for different purposes. You’ll want a set that helps you learn your vocabulary and grammar. You also want to be able to read in Japanese, so you should have flash cards that teach you how to form and understand all the characters of the alphabet.
Use Japanese on one side and then spell out the answers phonetically on the other side of the cards. If you do use more than one set of flash cards, keep them separate to avoid confusion!
Once you put your mind to it, you will see that you can learn Japanese in many different ways. These are just a few hints that you can use to help make sure that the things you want to learn are better able to stick in your brain. Let’s face it, if you are a Westerner who was not raised to understand any of the languages and cultures of the East, learning Japanese is not easy. The techniques covered here are meant to help you gain some familiarity with the Japanese language and way of life.

Japanese is often considered to be one of the hardest languages to learn It is not easy, especially for speakers of Western languages who are not accustomed to the subtleties and almost musical quality of Japanese. It takes some time, but you will one day be able to appreciate the unusual and beautiful sounds of Japanese. The problem for some people is that they think Japanese is so hard they never give themselves a chance to learn it. Learning languages is a natural human ability, one that we all share! You do have to devote a certain amount of time and hard work into it, though. With enough time and effort you could be fluent in Japanese before you know what is happening. There are some proven strategies to speed up your progress.persoonlijke lening persoonlijkelening lenen }
Repetition is the key. Whenever possible, try to repeat, in Japanese, the words that you use in everyday talk. Do it as often as possible. Whatever you do, make use of this technique because you can use it any time and any place you please; but above all, you will start to automatically be able to name things and translate words over to Japanese in your mind. And of course you will get faster the more you put this method to use. Learning to make these associations will benefit you as you progress to a more advance level of Japanese and will help you to be able to respond easier when someone speaks to you n the language. Keep practicing this one simple method and the time will come when you won’t even need to use your Japanese dictionary. Learn the basic alphabet. It’s not necessary to learn spelling when you get started; learn first of all how to recognize the characters and how to pronounce them. Even if you aren’t perfect, you can then write down the phonetic equivalent of any phrases you are trying to speak. This system can be a good tool if you go to Japan before you’ve really mastered the language. By doing this, you will be learning how to read in the new language as well as being able to communicate by writing things down phonetically.
You should also play any Japanese audio programs you are using at times when you aren’t consciously trying to learn. Of course, you should listen to these programs as a study drill as well. Another good way to learn, though, is by taking advantage of subconscious learning, which can be just as effective. Try this, and just play your Japanese programs while you are busy around the house, driving or doing anything else. Every time the vocabulary and phrases are repeated, a part of your mind is taking this in and remembering it. You may be surprised at how much you can recall from these sessions! There is also a theory that you can even learn while you are sleeping, so you could try learning Japanese in your sleep! There are lots of different ways to learn a language. Take your own style of learning into consideration, and base your course of study on this. The most important thing to remember is that learning Japanese is something you can do. The key is to make up your mind that you will continue learning until you can speak, read and write like someone who’s been speaking Japanese their whole life!

By Mark Simpson

Shoes form an integral part of our wardrobe and lifestyle. No matter what kind of work we do, the most important criteria for shoes is that, they should be comfortable for the wearer. This holds especially true if you are a busy professional and your work demands that you have to be on your feet for a long time. This becomes all the more important if you are in the medical profession and working as a nurse. The professionals need to make sure that, along with their clothes, the nurse shoes that they buy and use for their work, are comfortable and does not cause any strain on their feet. Those who work in medical profession or similar profession need to work for long hours and most of the times the working hours are erratic. Running and standing, catering to patients constantly, can really take a toll on your health and it is your duty to ensure that the uniform you wear and the shoes you wear do not cause any amount of discomfort to you, in doing your work efficiently.

Now, the most important thing for a nurse is to choose the shoes and other footwear properly. The question is how do you do that – now doing this is very easy; you just have to take care of some basic things. Make sure that the nurse shoes that you choose have rubber soles, the rubber soles gives you stability while walking, running or just standing for a long time. Rubber soles are also protective against any foreign substance, that you can step on while you are too busy with your work and do not even have the time to see, what surface you are stepping on to. The shoes must have non slip soles; you do not want to slip on something while you are working. You never know when you have to encounter a slippery floor in the hospital, so it is better to be cautious about this.

There are an endless number of varieties available in the market when it comes to nurse shoes; one just needs to make sure that they choose wisely. Nurses must never compromise the comfort factor in favor of style and today there are plenty of nurse shoes available in the market that cover both these aspects. Generally, nurse shoes are manufactured keeping in mind all these aspects. Some of the common brands available in the market for nurse shoes Barco, Dickies, Cherokee, Crest, Littman, White Swan and Peaches. You can make your choice from all these major brands besides several other brands.

Buying comfortable nurse shoes is very easy; you just need to know from where you can get them. If you are confused about this, you can use the internet to find out information about the stores in your city where you can buy nurse shoes. There are also several online stores from where you can buy nurse shoes of your choice. Some of them offer the shoes at a discount price, so it becomes easier for you to buy the nurse shoes.

Once you get Plantar Fasciitis, it becomes the focus of your life because you can’t do anything, let alone work in comfort. One of the quick ways to see if your nurses shoes give you the support you need in them is something called the shoe push down test.

Key to All Day Support for Nurses Shoes

One of the many concerns nurses have about their shoes giving them proper support is getting foot pain, like Plantar Fasciitis. Once you get Plantar Fasciitis, it becomes the focus of your life because you can’t do anything, let alone work in comfort. One of the quick ways to see if your nurses shoes give you the support you need in them is something called the shoe push down test.

It checks to see where you shoe bends. If your shoe bends by the ball of your foot, then congrats your foot is supported. If your shoe bends somewhere in the middle, ouch you’re on the road to foot discomfort and pain.

The Nures Shoe Support Test

Here’s how you do it:
Hold the base of your shoe in the palm of your hand and place the front of your shoe on a flat surface.

Then press down and look at the flexion point of your shoe.

That’s it.

This would be a great test to do on any of your new shoe purchases. You can do it mildly inconspicuously at the store to see if those good looks and fancy features actually result in your foot being supported! Actually, go through your everyday shoes and do this little test. It will be good to see what you actually have in your closet that supports or doesn’t support your feet.

A big thanks to Dr Pribut on his article on Plantar Fasciitis for the find.
